In order to further structure your user and credentials management, you can also assign organization units and sites to specific user credentials. Bundling assigned sites, organization units, devices and networks helps you to capture a user's location, array of permissions and assets at a glance. Let's go for a quick example.
1.Open the details view of a specific set of credentials as presented in chapter: Adapt general credential settings.
2.In this details view, click on Assigned sites or Assigned OUs to connect specific issues with your currently chosen credentials. In this example, it will be Assigned OUs - the Assigned sites process is similar, though.
3.Under Assigned OUs, click on Add to open the Add credential assignment wizard.
4.Select an Organization unit (mandatory). If required, you can also manually fill in the fields RegEx defintion and IP range definition. In this example, these entries are not relevant. Please note that in the Add credential assignment wizard, you can only select one OU per process.
5.Confirm your configuration via Save. You will be redirected to the Credentials details view. Your newly assigned OU is now displayed as a list item.
6. If required, repeat the entire process to add more assigned OUs. Alternatively, you can also select the OU to analyze it in its own Details view (optional) and edit the list item.
