For a more precise overview and a refined system in your credentials and user management, you can also directly assign IT assets to specific credentials. The following steps lead you through the process.
1.Open the details view of a specific set of credentials as presented in chapter: Adapt general credential settings.
2.In this details view, click on Assigned devices or Assigned networks to connect specific assets with your currently chosen credentials. In this example, it will be Assigned devices - the Assigned networks process is similar, though.
3.Under Assigned devices, click on Add to open the Add credential assignment wizard.
4.Select a device from the drop-down list and confirm your choice via Save. Please note that in the Add credential assignment wizard, you can only select one device per process.
5.After returning to the Credentials details view, you'll find your newly assigned device in the list.
6.If required, repeat the entire process to add more assigned devices. Alternatively, you can also select the device to analyze it in its own Details view (optional) and edit your assigned assets.
