Package import wizard allows a user to import/re-import a software packages into the library. This wizard can be accessed either via the context menu within the library or using the Import... option in swipe-bar.

In order to maintain a coherent structure within the library, a user can only import a package under a folder. Hence, the Import... and Reimport... option is only activated when a user access the context menu either over a folder or an existing package.

In comparison to being launched via the context menu, the Import Package Wizard shows additional steps when initialized via the swipe-bar. These steps include specifying the package type and destination folder.

Importing a Package via the Context Menu

Using the Import... option in the context menu, a user can import a package of type software, merge module, OS snapshot, or web application; under the respective categories of the library.
