Tools can be exchanged between different instances of the product by using import/export functionality. PackBench supports exporting and importing from an XML-based format.
When exporting a tool, the following data are saved in XML file:
•Tool details
•Tool configurations
•Name of the group to which the tool belongs to
In Order to Export a Tool to XML Format...
1.Select the tool in the tools view.
2.Right click to open a context menu.
3.Click on Export...
4.Navigate to the place where to save the exported tool and provide a file name for it.
5.The tool will be exported after pressing Save button.
