To set up the ServiceNow connector in RayVentory Data Hub, follow these steps:

 

1.In RayVentory Data Hub, navigate to the Connectors section and select Add Connector.

2.Search for and select ServiceNow from the connector list.

3.Enter the Instance Name of your ServiceNow environment (for example, dev12345 or mycompany).

4.Select the authentication method and provide the required credentials:

oBasic Authentication: Enter the Basic Username and Basic Password of the API user.

oOAuth 2.0: Enter the OAuth2 Client ID and OAuth2 Client Secret from the ServiceNow application registry.

5.Save the connector configuration. The connector is now ready to be used in tasks.

 

After saving the connector, create a new task and select the desired Task Type:

•License: Automatically collects data from the predefined set of license-related tables.

•Table: Runs a customizable query against a specific ServiceNow table.
