The Deployments section of the Endpoint Management workspace provides an overview of all package deployment and import operations that have been initiated or are currently running. This includes single-batch deployments (targeting all selected devices at once), wave-based staged rollouts (using rollout wave configurations), and package import jobs triggered from the Package Store. Deployments that use rollout waves are displayed with detailed wave and run progress, allowing you to track the rollout status across your managed devices in real time.
Access: Open Workspaces > Endpoint Management > Deployments in the left sidebar.
Starting a Deployment
To start a new deployment, select New deployment from the Deployments view. A wizard guides you through the following steps.
Step 1 — Select packages
Choose one or more packages to deploy. The package list shows all packages available in your Package Library. Use the search panel and filter bar to locate packages by name, version, or publisher. Select the packages you want to include and proceed to the next step.
Step 2 — Select devices
Choose the managed devices that should receive the deployment. The device list shows all enrolled devices with their operating system, domain, and last-seen timestamp. Select the target devices and proceed to the next step.
Step 3 — Deployment strategy
Choose how the deployment should be executed. This step is only shown when more than one device is selected.
•Single batch: The package is deployed to all selected devices at the same time. All targeted devices receive the installation task simultaneously, without any staged progression.
•Rollout waves: The deployment is divided into sequential waves according to a wave template. Each wave targets a subset of devices and must meet its configured success criteria before the next wave begins. Select an existing wave template from the dropdown, or select the + button to create a new wave template directly from within the wizard. For details on wave template configuration, see Wave Templates. For a description of the wave configuration settings, see Rollout Waves.
When a wave template is selected, a preview of the configured waves is shown, displaying the wave names and their sizing configuration.
Step 4 — Summary
Review the deployment before starting. The summary displays the selected packages and target devices, grouped by operating system. For packages that support deployment artifacts (such as installation logs), a Collect artifacts checkbox is shown. Select this option to have the Raynet ONE agent collect and upload the deployment artifacts after installation.
Select Deploy to initiate the deployment. The wizard shows the job submission progress and confirms when the deployment job has been successfully queued. After the wizard closes, the new deployment appears in the Deployment List and can be monitored from the Deployment Details view.
Deployment List
The deployment list shows all package deployments. Each entry provides an at-a-glance summary of the deployment scope and current state. The following columns are available:
•Name: The name of the deployment, typically reflecting the deployed package and the targeted scope.
•Package: The name and version of the package being deployed.
•Wave: The current wave being processed, shown as a fraction of the total number of configured waves (for example, Wave 2/4). Deployments without wave configuration show a dash.
•Progress: The overall progress of the deployment, expressed as the number of devices processed out of the total targeted devices.
•Status: The current state of the deployment. Possible states include Running, Completed, Halted, and Failed.
•Started: The date and time the deployment was initiated.
•Ended: The date and time the deployment finished, either by completing successfully, being halted, or failing. Empty for deployments that are still in progress.
Deployment Details
Selecting a deployment from the list opens the deployment details view, which provides a real-time breakdown of the rollout progress. The details view contains the following information:
•Summary: Shows key deployment properties — package name and version, total number of target devices, current wave progress, and overall deployment status.
•Waves: For wave-based deployments, displays each wave as a separate entry with its own status, device count, success rate, and timing information. The wave view updates in real time as the rollout progresses. Each wave shows a visual progress bar with markers indicating the configured halt and advance thresholds.
•Devices: Lists the individual devices included in the deployment, showing per-device task state, agent state, assigned wave, and last-seen timestamp.
For information on configuring rollout waves when creating a deployment, see Rollout Waves. For information on creating reusable wave configurations, see Wave Templates.
