Supported platforms

The Raynet One agent supports the following operating systems:

•Linux — common distributions including RPM-based (RHEL, Fedora, SUSE) and Debian-based (Debian, Ubuntu) systems.

•Windows — Windows Server 2016 and later, Windows 10 and later. Windows Server 2012 R2 is not supported. Windows Server 2016 requires additional dependencies before the agent can be deployed; see the note below.

•macOS — Intel-based (x64) Macs. ARM-based (Apple Silicon) Macs are also supported using Rosetta 2.

Windows Server 2016 prerequisite:
Windows Server 2016 requires .NET Framework 4.7 or later to be installed before deploying the agent. The WMI-based inventory component depends on this framework version. For troubleshooting WMI inventory failures, refer to Windows agent: WMI inventory fails with wminet_utils.dll error.

Supported architectures

The agent is currently available for AMD64 (x64) — standard 64-bit Intel and AMD processors. Native ARM64 support is not yet available; however, Apple Silicon (ARM64) Macs can run the AMD64 macOS package using Rosetta 2, Apple's built-in x86-64 translation layer.

Note:
The deployment methods described in the Deployment topic depend on the package format. For example, Group Policy Object (GPO) deployment only works with the .msi package, and MDM deployment primarily applies to .pkg and .msi packages.
