Dashboard

The Dashboard is the default overview screen of the Endpoint Management workspace in Raynet One. It provides an at-a-glance summary of the current endpoint landscape, including device coverage, agent health, package inventory, software update opportunities, and recent job activity.

Access the Dashboard by opening Workspaces > Endpoint Management in the left sidebar. The Dashboard is the first view displayed when you enter the workspace.

The Dashboard acts as the operational entry point for the Endpoint Management workspace. Rather than requiring navigation across multiple views, it consolidates the most relevant endpoint data into a single overview screen that supports rapid situational awareness and direct navigation to areas needing attention.

Key Indicators

The top area of the Dashboard displays metric cards that provide immediate orientation on the current state of your endpoints:

Managed devices: Shows the total number of devices with the Raynet One agent installed and registered in the system.

Packaged software: Shows the total number of software packages available in the Package Library.

Ready to update / Packaged software: Shows the ratio of packages with available updates relative to the total number of packaged software items.

Packages updated in last 30 days: Shows how many packages have received updates within the past 30 days, indicating recent patching activity.

Devices with outdated software: Shows the number of managed devices that have software with newer versions available.

Dashboard Sections

Below the key indicators, the Dashboard provides widget-based sections with charts and lists. Each section offers direct navigation to the corresponding detailed workspace view.

Managed device analysis

This section displays two complementary views of the managed device landscape:

Device coverage: A visual breakdown of the total device inventory showing the split between managed devices (with the agent installed) and unmanaged devices (without the agent). This helps identify what portion of the estate is under active endpoint management.

Agent states: A breakdown of managed devices by agent connectivity status, distinguishing between active agents (devices that have recently communicated with the server) and inactive agents (devices that have not reported within the expected timeframe).

Package asset analysis

This section provides a structured view of the package inventory from two perspectives:

By source: Shows the distribution of packages by their origin — packages sourced from the Package Store versus locally uploaded packages.

By operating system: Lists packages grouped by target platform (Windows, macOS, Linux), showing the number of versions and the count of devices with outdated software for each entry.

Available software updates

This section lists software products for which newer versions are available and shows the number of managed devices still running the older version. It helps prioritize patching efforts by identifying the most widespread outdated software across the estate. Direct navigation to the Patching view is available from this section.

Job history

This section displays the five most recently executed endpoint management jobs, including their name, status, and the target resource. It provides a quick status check on recent deployment and inventory activity without requiring navigation to the full Jobs view.
