When it comes to IT security threats, knowledge is power and prevention is key. In Raynet One, there are several ways to get a precise idea of your IT landscape's current vulnerability status. Via Software, you can easily detect potential security gaps caused by outdated or otherwise unsafe software versions "on the go".
1.Navigate to the Software view. It is located in the Sidebar menu in the Asset Management workspace. In the software list, you'll also find a a Vulnerabilities column. In order to find a specific software package in your IT landscape, you can also use search and filter functions.
2.Select a list item and click on Details view in the view header to access more information about the installed software package in question. Therefore, it is necessary to enable the Enriched data list mode.
3.In the details view, take a look at the general information section under Details.
4.Under Devices, also find out which assets within your IT landscape the vulnerable software is installed on.
5.In the same view, also check on the section Versions and vulnerabilities. Under Version information, you'll see the currently installed versions which cause vulnerability issues.
6.Select a software version to view all vulnerabilities related to it.
