Deduplicator

The Deduplicator connector analyzes records from multiple data sources and identifies duplicate entries by comparing field values across those sources. It merges duplicate records into a single, authoritative result using configurable matching thresholds, source priorities, and merge strategies.

The Deduplicator operates on data that has already been normalized into a unified schema by the Layer 1 (L1) transformation tasks. It reads from the L1 result tables and writes deduplicated output to a configurable results dataset.

The connector supports three deduplication entity types:

Device Deduplication — Identifies and merges duplicate device records from inventory and directory sources.

Software Deduplication — Identifies and merges duplicate software installation records across sources.

User Deduplication — Identifies and merges duplicate user records from directory and identity sources.

The Deduplicator is classified as a Miscellaneous connector of type Generic.
