To configure the Deduplicator connector, provide the connection details for the results database that holds the normalized L1 data, and select the deduplication type to perform.

 

1.Enter the connection string for the results database into the RESULT DATABASE CONNECTION STRING field.

2.Enter the database driver type into the DATABASE DRIVER field. Accepted values are Microsoft SQL Server or My SQL / MariaDB.

3.Select the deduplication operation to perform from the TYPE drop-down. Available options are Device Deduplication, Software Deduplication, and User Deduplication.

4.Select the DEDUPLICATE DETECTION SETTINGS profile. Choose from Broad, Standard, Precise, or Custom.

5.If Custom detection is selected, configure the field weights, matching thresholds, and merge strategies as required.

 

The connector reads from the L1 tables produced by the Layer 1 transformation tasks. Ensure these tasks have been executed successfully before running the Deduplicator.
