Insight Tiles are interactive KPI summary cards that appear above data grids in Asset Management views. They provide at-a-glance operational metrics and act as quick-access filters for the data grid below.
Available Views
Insight Tiles are available on the following Asset Management pages: Devices, Hardware, Hypervisors, Databases, and Vulnerabilities. Within the Software section, the All Software — Versions sub-view also displays Insight Tiles.
Layout
Up to four tiles are displayed above the grid toolbar on each supported page. Each tile shows a count and a label describing the metric.
Interacting with Tiles
Clicking a tile marks it as active and applies a pre-defined filter to the data grid below. The grid updates to show only the matching records. Clicking the active tile again deactivates it and removes the filter. Clicking a different tile replaces the current active filter. Only one tile can be active at a time.
Manual Filters
Insight Tiles work alongside the existing manual filter bar. Applying a tile filter does not disable or replace manual filters -- both apply simultaneously. You can use a tile filter and manual filters at the same time to narrow results further.
Zero Results
A tile showing a count of zero is still displayed and can still be clicked. When a zero-count tile is active, the grid shows an empty result set with the filter applied.
Tiles per View
Each Asset Management view displays tiles specific to its domain. The following sections describe the tiles available in each view.
Software — All Software Versions
The All Software — Versions sub-view within the Software section displays the following KPI tiles:
•End-of-life software — Software versions whose end-of-life date is before today. These versions no longer receive security updates and present a compliance and security risk.
•High-risk licenses — Adobe software versions with a known commercial model other than Subscription. These require careful license compliance management.
Devices
The Devices view displays the following KPI tiles:
•Not Seen in 30+ Days — Devices that have not been inventoried in more than 30 days. These devices may be offline, decommissioned, or no longer managed.
•Running End-of-Life Operating System — Devices running an operating system that has reached its end-of-life date and no longer receives security patches.
•Oracle Java Detected — Devices with Oracle Java installed. Oracle Java is subject to commercial licensing requirements and poses a compliance and licensing risk if not properly licensed.
•No Management Agent Installed — Devices discovered through passive scanning only. Without a management agent, inventory data may be incomplete or inaccurate.
•Devices with usage data — Devices with at least one retained usage metering record. Clicking this tile filters the grid to show only devices for which software usage data is available.
Hardware
The Hardware view displays the following KPI tiles:
•Not Seen in 30+ Days — Hardware items whose linked devices have not been inventoried in more than 30 days.
•Single-Vendor Concentration — Hardware where all items originate from a single manufacturer. This indicates a vendor concentration risk in the hardware inventory.
•Server models — Hardware models with a chassis type classified as server infrastructure. This tile is available in the Hardware Models sub-view.
Hypervisors
The Hypervisors view displays the following KPI tiles:
•No Running VMs — Hypervisors with no virtual machines currently running. These may be idle hosts that could be candidates for consolidation or decommissioning.
•Stopped VMs — Hypervisors that have one or more stopped virtual machines. Stopped VMs may need attention or cleanup.
•Outdated vSphere Version — VMware vSphere hypervisors running a version that has reached end-of-life. Note: this tile applies to vSphere only; Hyper-V host version information is not available.
Databases
The Databases view displays the following KPI tiles:
•Outdated Engine Version — Database instances running an outdated engine version. Version-based end-of-life detection is supported for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server instances.
•Oracle Database Instances — Oracle Database instances in the inventory. Oracle Database is subject to complex commercial licensing terms and requires careful license compliance management.
•MSSQL Instances Without Encryption — Microsoft SQL Server instances for which encryption is not enabled. Unencrypted database connections represent a security risk.
Vulnerabilities
The Vulnerabilities view displays the following KPI tiles:
•Critical Severity — Vulnerabilities with a CVSS score of 9.0 or higher. These represent the most severe security issues requiring immediate attention.
•CVEs Published 90+ Days Ago — Vulnerabilities that were published more than 90 days ago and are still present in the inventory. These indicate unpatched issues that have persisted beyond a typical remediation window.
•Widest Blast Radius — Vulnerabilities affecting the highest number of devices in the inventory. Addressing these issues has the broadest remediation impact.
