General toolbar elements

Apart from the header and sidebar menu, there are several recurring elements in the operation toolbar. Operation toolbars are visible for list views of every page navigable. The content of the toolbar differs, but there are some recurring buttons and tabs. Let's take a look at an example view, its content presented to you from left to right.

Add new device
This button is used to add new devices, either by direct means or by scanning technology. Depending on which view you're in, similar buttons allow you to add new devices, networks, databases and other objects.

Remove device
This button is used to delete a device along with its inventory from the database. Depending on which view you're in, similar buttons allow you to remove outdated or redundant devices, networks, databases and other objects.

Edit
This button allows you to assign custom device meta-data to devices. This button is a prime example of highly specific buttons whose availability is tied to the current view.

Inventory
Via the Inventory button, you can start an inventory run on one or more selected devices of your environment.
