As RayVentory Server is a major release and is now a very light weight server, we recommends that customers build a new server instead of uninstalling their existing Server instances. (refer to Appendix A for uninstall instructions).

Be aware: Migration to RayVentory Server will remove the ability to centrally manage the RayVentory Agents, as well as distribute the related package types throughout the hierarchy. Distribution Servers will also need to be replaced with the DS Lite product due to there being no replication hierarchy anymore. |

Be aware: When migrating to the latest version of RayVentory Server the .msi will neither migrate the database nor the LIMA connector. Both migrations need to be executed manually. More information on the manual migration of the database can be found here. |
