Uninstallation

In the Uninstallation tab, the user interaction regarding the uninstallation can be configured. The options are divided into two categories.

User Interface

Show uninstallation progress bar: If checked, the progress bar for the uninstallation process will be shown. Uncheck to not show a progress bar to the user.

Show uninstallation welcome window: If checked, the user will be shown a uninstallation welcome window. Uncheck to not show a uninstallation welcome window.

Show custom message before uninstallation: If checked, the custom message the needs to be entered into the field below will be shown to the user. If left unchecked, no message will be shown.

 

Process Configuration

Application processes to close: Enter any application processes that will be automatically closed into the field. If there are any application processes that will be closed, specify the maximum amount of time (in seconds) in the Maximum time (in seconds) after which the processes are closed field located below the field.

Minimize windows if running process detected: If checked, windows will be minimized if a running process is being detected. Uncheck to not minimize the windows.

Prompts users that they cannot run certain applications: If checked, users will be prompted that certain applications cannot be run during the installation process. If left unchecked, users will not be prompted.

Allow user to defer the installation: If checked, users can postpone the installation. If left unchecked, users will not be able to postpone the installation. Specify the number of possible postponements in the Maximum number of deferred user installations field.

Allow users to defer only if there are running applications: If checked, users will be able to postpone the installation if there are any running applications. If left unchecked, the installation cannot be postponed. Specify the number of possible postponements in the Maximum number of deferred user installations field.
