Device Deduplication > Supported Sources

The following data sources are supported out of the box for each Deduplicator entity type. Each source has a corresponding Layer 1 transformation task that normalizes its data into the unified schema before deduplication.

Devices

The following sources contribute device records to the L1_Devices-Result table:

Source	Description
RayVentory	Device inventory data collected by the RayVentory agent.
Raynet One	Device records from the Raynet One API.
Active Directory	Computer objects from Active Directory.
Azure Active Directory	Device objects from Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
ECM SQL (SCCM/MECM)	Device records from a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager SQL database.
ECM WMI (SCCM/MECM)	Device records collected from Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager via WMI.
Microsoft Intune	Device records from Microsoft Intune.
VMware vCenter	Virtual machine and host records from VMware vCenter.
AWS EC2	EC2 instance records from Amazon Web Services.
AWS RDS	RDS database instance records from Amazon Web Services.

Software

The following sources contribute software installation records to the L1_Software-Result table:

Source	Description
RayVentory	Software installation records collected by the RayVentory agent.
Raynet One	Software installation records from the Raynet One API.
ECM / SCCM	Software installation records from Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager. This source combines both ECM WMI and ECM SQL software data in a single transformation.
Microsoft Intune	Software installation records from Microsoft Intune.

Users

The following sources contribute user records to the L1_Users-Result table:

Active Directory	User accounts from Active Directory.
Adobe Admin Console	User records from the Adobe Admin Console.
Office 365	User records from Microsoft Office 365.
ECM WMI (SCCM/MECM)	User records collected from Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager via WMI.
