Agents page is a sub-page of the Administration section, which let administrators manager, install and authorize agents.
The following contextual actions are available:
•Refresh – reloads all agents and updates the table
•Add offline agent – opens a dialog that allows adding an offline agent to the system. For instructions on how to add an offline agent, see Adding Offline Agents in the Data Hub Installation Guide.
•Edit – opens the edit panel, which allows it to edit a single selected agent. The Edit-button is only enabled when a single agent is selected.
•Delete – deletes the selected agents. Deletion requires a confirmation from the user.
•Install... - open a dialog where the user can download an agent MSI and guides through the next steps.
The Type column indicates whether an agent is an Online or Offline agent. An online agent is installed on a target machine and maintains a persistent connection to the Data Hub, allowing tasks to be executed directly and on schedule. An offline agent, by contrast, operates without a permanent network connection to the Data Hub. Tasks must be exported, executed locally on the offline agent's machine, and the resulting data then imported back into the Data Hub. For more information, see Executing Tasks Using Offline Agents.
There is no way to add entries manually to this view. Instead, install a new agent using the provided MSI file. Once an agent is installed and started for the first time it automatically registers itself and will be visible in this view.
