To authenticate with the Prisma Cloud API, you must create an Access Key in the Prisma Cloud console. The Access Key provides a Client ID and Client Secret used by the connector. Complete the following steps to generate the credentials.
1.Log in to the Prisma Cloud console.
2.Navigate to Settings and select Access Keys.
3.Click Add Access Key.
4.Enter a descriptive name for the key and set an appropriate expiration date.
5.Click Create.
6.Copy the Access Key ID and the Secret Key from the confirmation dialog and store them securely. The Secret Key is displayed only once.
In addition, note the following API endpoint values required for connector configuration:
•CSPM API URL: The base URL of the Prisma Cloud CSPM API for your region, for example, https://api2.prismacloud.io. This value is displayed in the Prisma Cloud console under Settings > Access Keys or in the API documentation for your tenant.
•Runtime Security Console URL: The full URL of the Prisma Cloud Compute (Runtime Security) console for your tenant, for example, https://us-east1.cloud.twistlock.com/us-1-12345678. This value is available in the Prisma Cloud console under Compute > System > Utilities.
