To connect to the OpenAI Usage API, an OpenAI organization Admin API Key with sufficient permissions is required. The following requirements must be met before configuring the connector:
•An OpenAI organization account with administrator access is required.
•An Admin API Key must be created. The key must have at minimum Admin (Read-Only) permissions. Without this permission level, the connector will not be able to collect data and will report an error.
•Admin API Keys are organization-scoped and are separate from regular project-level API keys. They are managed in the OpenAI platform settings under Organization > Admin API Keys.
To create an Admin API Key, perform the following steps:
1.Sign in to the OpenAI platform using an account that has organization administrator privileges.
2.Navigate to Organization > Admin API Keys in the left navigation menu.
3.Click Create new secret key.
4.Provide a descriptive name for the key (for example: Raynet One Data Hub).
5.Assign the Admin (Read-Only) permission. This is the minimum required permission for the connector to function correctly.
6.Click Create secret key and copy the key value immediately. The key value is only shown once and cannot be retrieved after closing the dialog.

Important: The connector requires at least Admin (Read-Only) permissions on the Admin API Key. If the key has insufficient permissions, the connector will not collect any data and will return an error indicating that no results were found. |
