To authenticate with the BMC Discovery API, an API token must be generated within the BMC Discovery user interface. Complete the following steps to obtain the token.
1.Log in to the BMC Discovery user interface as an administrator.
2.Navigate to Administration and select API Tokens.
3.Click Create Token.
4.Enter a descriptive name for the token and confirm the creation.
5.Copy the generated API token and store it securely. The token value is displayed only once.
6.Use the API token when configuring the connector in Raynet One Data Hub.

Be aware: The API token is displayed only at the time of creation. Make sure to copy and store it before closing the dialog, as it cannot be retrieved afterward. |
