In order to get the Client ID and the Client Secret that are necessary to identify with the API it is necessary to first create an OAuth application. This can be done by executing the following steps.

 

1.Navigate to Your Profile > My apps and click on Create My App.

2.The Client ID can now be found in the App ID field in the Credentials section of the OAuth application and the Client Secret can be found in the App Secret field.

3.Click on Save to finalize the creation of the OAuth application.
