In order to create the API Key that is needed to connect to the Gainsight PX REST Api execute the following steps.

 

1.Click on the New API Key button.

2.Enter a descriptive name, a description, and set the permissions that are required.

3.Click on the Generate button. The API key will now be shown.

4.Save the API key to a secure location. If the key is lost, it will not be possible to retrieve it and the key will not be shown in Gainsight PX again.
