The License Management (LM) in Raynet One is the central workspace for managing all software licenses, contracts, entitlements, compliance, and optimization activities within your organization.

It provides a unified environment where Software Asset Management (SAM) teams can capture license rights, monitor usage, maintain compliance, manage renewals, and continuously optimize software spend - all supported by powerful SAM AI capabilities.

 

Main Navigation Areas

The License Management Workspace is accessed via the left sidebar of Raynet One. The following navigation areas guide users through the complete LM workflow:

 

Introduction to LM & SAM AI:

Provides an overview of SAM, the role of SAM AI, and the overall workflow within the License Management Workspace.

 

•Dashboards - Overview and Monitoring: Provides the default overview screen for monitoring license health, risks, upcoming activities, and optimization potential.

•License Contracts - Capturing Entitlements: Used to manage license contracts and capture the license rights that form the basis for entitlement and compliance analysis.

•Calendar - Renewal and Lifecycle Management: Used to track renewals, expirations, lifecycle events, and other time-sensitive LM activities.

•Entitlements Management: Used to manage license entitlements, allocations, and coverage.

•Compliance Reconciliation and ELP: Used for detailed compliance analysis and Effective License Position (ELP) review.
