In order to successfully execute inventory runs on your managed devices and servers, it is necessary to check on and, if required, adapt your inventory settings. So the Inventory Settings view includes two main tabs, which are Devices and Oracle.
Actions under the Devices tab:
•discovering and editing instrument settings for Windows and Unix instruments,
•determining the software's reaction to missing credentials,
•adapting port probing behavior,
•changing the ports used for the SSH service on your devices,
•if required, assigning different inventory scripts.
